All of Latitude.sh’s servers feature remote access capabilities so your server can be managed even when it’s off or unresponsive. Remote access gives you browser-based access to your server’s Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI). Remote Access is included at no cost. Remote access interface

Connecting to IPMI

  1. Navigate to your server’s overview page
  2. Click on the Remote Access action
  3. Click Generate IPMI credentials to create access credentials
  4. Copy the username and password provided
  5. Click Access IPMI to open the IPMI interface in your browser
  6. Log in using the generated credentials
The IPMI password is only shown once, so you’ll need to generate new credentials if you need to access your server again in the future.

Troubleshooting

  • The remote access feature only supports the HTML5 console
  • If you need to deploy a custom image, use the iPXE option available on the dashboard
  • The IPMI URL may take a few seconds to become available after generation
  • Make sure to copy credentials before closing the interface, as they’re only shown once
  • Some server models don’t support remote access. For those, the Remote Access panel says it isn’t available
If you encounter any issues with remote access, please contact support.
